Nothing suggested is making it better, have even tried reinstalling. I hate to bump, but I wanted to confirm that this worked for me as well. Kill the process SyncServer.exe and any process starting with "Apple" using Task Manager 2.

Edit: Solution #2 in the Lei Mobile site seemed to resolve my issue. When I removed my device from the Xcode Organizer and it started working again.
