It took me a little bit of time but I soon released that the temp file for the database would be on my system volume which did not have the space Then run ESEUtil. This utility is located in the Exchange default install folder that is :\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\Bin and can be used against any ESE database of Exchange Server 2010 or earlier versions. So it would be wise to avoid ESEUtil if your Exchange database is facing issues.
