SEOUL

Welcome to Seoul, South Korea, home of the 1988 summer Olympics. A busy and huge metropolitan city, Seoul has become a very international city. You will see people from many countries living and visiting in Seoul. Locals from other cities have flocked there. Large suburban areas have sprouted up around Seoul as well. It has all the culture, art, museums, international food, cinema, live music, live performances such as plays, ballets and much more! The palaces are also a must see for anyone as well.

One of the busiest international areas you will is a section called (E-tae-won). Subway transportation and buses are abundant, as well as taxis. Hotels and motels are plentiful and most quite reasonably priced.

Many English teachers find themselves at one time in their teaching careers in Korea venturing to Seoul for a year or more. For some it is too big, but for others a great place to live and work, or just to check out for a visit, perhaps a stop over to or from Japan.
